Drs Ian and Jayne Gordon are well known and respected dental surgeons in Teesside and North Yorkshire. Having practised in the region for over 20 years, many readers will have already been treated by them and know of their ability as dentists

Why should I join Vitality?
Since April 2006 patients are not registered with a NHS practice. Vitality Complete Dental Care at Stokesley, North Yorkshire, offers patients membership giving benefits in terms of access to routine, cosmetic and emergency treatment. The first 500 patients will be given Gold membership as founder members of the practice. We offer treatment in relaxed, ultra modern surgeries from experienced dentists using the latest in cross infection control and technology

Why are you not a NHS practice
Stokesley Dentists at Vitality Complete Dental Care in North Yorkshire, wants to operate independently, free from NHS targets and time pressures with an aim to provide the treatment YOU want and need. We may be able to offer NHS Orthodontics if the PCT agrees to this.

What about children?
We have made a very special deal for children. Children under 5 are seen free ( if one parent is registered) Children age 5–17 pay only £6 per month with NO additional charge for treatment of baby teeth and 1/2 price treatment for adult teeth

What if I require emergency treatment during the day?
Priority will be given to our Vitality Dental Plan members but we also offer emergency appointments to non registered patients

What do I get for £12 a month?

• 2 examinations per year
• 2 Scale and polish visits(normally with a hygienist)
• Xrays
• Access to emergency appointments
• World wide out of hours emergency dental treatment
• 20% discount off normal treatment fees (Gold members 25%)

Will I notice a difference?
We certainly think so - from the friendly welcome at reception, patient internet access and coffee, to the time we can spend with you.

If you are wanting something different from your dentistry you will not be disappointed. We have the time, for example, to use the latest Velscope light at your examination for the early detection of oral cancer.

Do you just do routine treatment?
Vitality will offer a full range of routine and cosmetic treatment. We have an implant specialist available for more advanced treatment. We also offer facial aesthetics - dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxants as well as tooth whitening.

Do I have to join the practice?
Whilst we want patients to join our practice, we will see patients for individual treatments such as a crown or root filling. We also offer membership at £2 per month to include insurance cover but then all treatment including exams must be paid for. There is an annual scheme at £7 per month available to certain low need patients (at the dentists discretion)
