  Having recently finished a course of cosmetic dentistry at Vitality Dental Practice I would like to say how pleased I am with the service I received. The staff were always very professional and friendly. Facilities in the practice are excellent and I especially enjoyed my morning coffee and the Yorkshire Post- very civilised and it helped to add to the relaxing feeling the practice has.

Prices are very competitive and the service was quick. I was given many options at Vitality and Jayne Gordon tried very hard to give me the cosmetic look I wanted together with a price, I felt, I could afford.

  I have been a patient of Mr Gordon’s for quite a number of years and, because of my faith in him as my dentist, I decided to register with him when he opened Vitality.

The ambience of Vitality inspires confidence in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere as soon as one enters the reception area. The décor has been carefully thought out with a view to making the patient’s experience as pleasant as possible.

“The dentist’s surgery is as non-threatening as possible. For someone like me who has, over the years, built up considerable anxiety when consulting the dentist, the well-sized, airy surgery makes a great difference to the small, cramped surgeries remembered from the past.

“ I have always received a very high quality of treatment from the dentists at Vitality. They are thorough and confidence inspiring. From being an extremely nervous patient I have learned from them to have no fears, whatever the procedure encountered since I am constantly asked if all is well during treatment.

“I have found that the estimated costs of treatment are accurate and there is a range of options for payment. The practice also offers a dental care insurance scheme to all patients on registration and provides information for a 0% interest plan should a loan be needed for the more expensive options such as implants.

“The customer care offered by the practice is excellent from reception to dental nurses to the dentists. All are friendly, informative, placing the patient at ease and giving the feeling that the person, not the procedure or time or cost, comes first.

Mr and Mrs Gordon are highly professional, competent and amiable in their approach to the client. I particularly like the confidence they inspire in the way they include the patient in the discussions when deciding on potential treatments.

  I am a new patient at Vitality Dental Practice and, after experiencing some difficult dental treatments in the past, I cannot praise the dentist enough. She explained thoroughly at all stages what she was doing and how. Having had many dentists over the years, some good, some not, I can safely state I now do not dread future visits.

The receptionist is a very pleasant lady and the ambience of the practice is calming and relaxing. The location is ideal and, to cap it all, when we did an auction for a charity that I run, ‘Greyhounds Galore’, they offered a free tooth-whitening as an auction prize.

  Jayne and the team have enabled me to smile on my way into the dentist and on my way out. I no longer have to have early morning appointments so that I’m not distracted and fearful all day. I no longer ‘put off’ when I know there’s something that needs looking at.

As an adult I have always selected dentists carefully, always asking people for their opinion whenever moving to a new area. In this last move I feel I’ve ‘hit the jackpot’ and have no reservation in saying that I actually enjoy- yes enjoy- visiting the dentist and have been thrilled with my treatment and my resultant smile is brilliant!!
